Do you haveexperience inparts ordering, vendor management, shipping instruments to vendors, purchase order processing, quality documentation review, reporting from databases, and planning/scheduling as well as working with technicians for the overall success of a calibration program? It's a busy job but may be the perfect fit for you! The Calibration Coordinator II reports directly to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director depending on the organizational structure. These positions are non-exempt. Up to twenty five percent travel may be required based on project and client needs. The role of a Calibration Coordinator involves calibration and maintenance technical service activities as well as coordinating calibration schedules and workforce allocation. Expectations include parts planning and ordering, calibration scheduling, identifying resource needs to keep activities on time and client interactions. The Calibration Coordinator must build a high level of trust with the clients and provide customer service as the liaison between PCI and the client for calibration tasks scheduled. The Calibration Coordinator may be expected to perform calibrations if needed and be able to discuss calibration principles and procedures with clients in an advisory role under the guidance of their Team Leader, Team Manager, or Director. In addition to the above expectations, the Calibration Coordinator II is expected to identify and execute tasks that enhance the ability of PCI to provide an 'added value' service for clients and provide guidance and direction on technical issues. Calibration Coordinator ll's have a higher level of technical experience and expertise to troubleshoot issues, as well as assist in providing innovative, creative, effective, and long term solutions. Experience & Education Required for the Calibration Coordinator II: A two- or four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, other related field or equivalent military training and four years of applicable calibration and maintenance experience in an ISO, cGMP manufacturing environment experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
