POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Analyst position will support and partner with our Global Compliance organization and will actively drive the integration of data analytics and associated data visualizations into Compliance Monitoring projects to deliver innovative, insightful, and actionable analyses. Reporting to the Director, Global Compliance Monitoring, this role will support the Office of Compliance in continuing to develop our capability of monitoring compliance with the company's Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, and relevant laws and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, acquire, validate, synthesize, and analyze relevant data for monitoring and reporting based on the Compliance department's needs

  • Provide data-driven insights to Cencora's Compliance leadership team to help prioritize compliance monitoring activities aimed at mitigating organizational risk

  • Conduct regular assessments of data to identify gaps and opportunities

  • Adhere to enterprise data governance standards and maintaining documentation

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform leadership decisions and policy development related to compliance.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of analytical methodologies, processes, and results to support transparency and repeatability

  • Participate in brainstorming and creation of ad-hoc/continuous monitoring reporting as needed to support compliance investigations, special projects, and on-going monitoring efforts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including enterprise data analytics, software engineers, data owners, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with compliance analytics objectives.

  • Create visualizations, including dashboards, to display and transform compliance data into actionable insights for compliance officer engagement

  • Utilize data and advanced visualization tools to capture and effectively communicate compliance risks, transforming complex data into compelling stories that drive informed decision-making.

  • Manage time working on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Develop and deliver training sessions on the view and use of visual tools to Compliance team members

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of compliance data analytics.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Intelligence and/or Data Science, or another related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Typically has about five (5) or more years' experience in data management or data governance. Big 4, healthcare, or pharmaceutical compliance, risk management, data analytics, or audit experience preferred.

  • Prior experience in compliance monitoring preferred.

  • Utilize advanced understanding of multiple data structures and data sources

  • Requires specific knowledge and training in visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) .

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in the collection and analysis of complex data and visualization software (e.g., Power BI)

  • Ability to manage data sourcing and perform data quality and integrity control

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Excellent oral/written communication

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative team environment

  • Team player who effectively partners across functions throughout the organization and communicates easily and comfortably with technical experts and can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (especially Excel).

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Enjoys challenges of balancing multiple and sometimes competing priorities and achieving deadlines.

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
