Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled general maintenance tasks throughout the shop. This role works closely with Foremen and the Service Manager to ensure the shop remains in optimal working condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general shop maintenance and upkeep.
  • Conduct general building maintenance and repairs.
  • Schedule and perform tooling maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete routine shop walk-throughs to remove trash and debris.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Complete all surveys and audits required for Elite Support criteria.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular on-site attendance.



Work Environment:



  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, solvents, paints, and electrical hazards.
  • Work may be performed at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme heat or cold.
  • Noise levels range from moderate to loud.



Physical & Mental Requirements:



  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching (above shoulder and knee level), and pushing/pulling required.
  • Occasional squatting, crouching, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry - up to 51-100 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write basic correspondence.



Education, Skills, and Knowledge Required:



  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
