JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Stewardship (Stewardship Officer) in supporting Penn State Behrend, a commonwealth campus located in Erie, PA. As a member of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, you can play an integral role in Penn State's future and contribute to one of the most successful fundraising and alumni relations operations in the country. This position reports to Penn State Behrend's Director of Development and works in coordination with various departments throughout the University.

The Assistant Director of Stewardship is responsible for developing and maintaining the comprehensive stewardship process for Penn State Behrend's Development and Alumni Relations team including administering unit software access and compliance and developing proper acknowledgment procedures for donors. This position also provides the primary financial oversight for the unit's various budgets.

This position requires a bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will have:

  • organization skills and have attention to detail

Operation of a motor vehicle as part of the position's duties and a valid driver's license are required. Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check, in addition to standard background checks, is also required.

This position is based at the Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, located in Erie, Pennsylvania. Erie, PA is located along Lake Erie and is within 2 hours of major US cities

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$51,000.00 - $74,000.00

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
