Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery. Responsibilities The Phlebotomist functions as a laboratory professional who performs specimen collection techniques or specimen collection instructions that include; venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instruction and specimen culture collection instruction. Qualifications Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience Preferred Job Requirements Experience working in the clinical setting Certification from nationally recognized agency.
