POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst, Strategic Planning supports the SVP and VP, Strategic Planning and Special Projects with market and financial analysis and preparation of presentation materials to further support CenterPoint's strategy and new market opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct research to analyze industrial real estate market trends and performance.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and spreadsheet modeling to support project and corporate level forecasting and measure financial impact of strategic decisions.
- Analyze data to identify trends and summarize and present findings in executive level presentations.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify themes and make strategic recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for quarterly and annual presentations.
- Conducts research and gathers information for projects, reports, and presentations for ad hoc requests of partners and investors.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to assemble necessary information related to specific projects.
- Perform other initiatives related to business and strategic planning.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions and competitive landscapes to inform investment strategies.
- Assist in the development and refining of investment thesis in collaboration with leadership team.
- Acts in accordance with the values of the company and comply with all company processes and procedures.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business; accounting/finance required; real estate concentration preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience performing financial and/or valuation analysis in the real estate industry, demonstrating superior:

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 annually. CenterPoint Properties offers employees a competitive compensation package which includes an annual target bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) and more. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
