This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NHThe opportunity Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is seeking Adjunct Instructors to join our School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE) to teach American Politics (POL-210). This is an on-campus teaching opportunity, reporting to the Associate Dean of SASE. POL-210 provides a broad introduction to the structure and function of the American political system at the national level. Topics include the roles of the president, Congress, the courts, the bureaucracy, political parties, interest groups, and mass media in policy-making and electoral processes. The course emphasizes how the framers of the Constitution sought to address political challenges of their time and how their solutions continue to shape American national politics today. Compensation The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline. |
