The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's School of Engineering, Technology, and Aeronautics (SETA) is looking for Adjunct Instructors to teach the Aviation Safety course. This in-person teaching opportunity will begin in Fall 2025 at our Manchester, NH campus. The course will be offered during weekdays in the daytime. You will report directly to the Associate Dean for SETA.

  • AV 410: Aviation Safety

What You'll Do

  • Teach courses according to the scheduled curriculum
  • Collaborate in the development and refinement of course content to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards
  • Review and assess student work, providing timely, constructive feedback to support student success
  • Utilize Brightspace, our Learning Management System, to facilitate course activities, communications, and grading

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years of related professional experience in aviation safety or a similar field
  • A Master's degree in a related discipline or enrollment in a graduate program is required
  • Teaching experience as a Certified Flight Instructor or at the college level is preferred
  • Experience in Aviation or Corporate Safety Management

Compensation

The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
