Material Handler

The Material Handler ensures the safe, efficient, timely, and accurate movement of materials and product throughout the plant to support production and plant operations.

• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, including maintenance and charging.

• Manage inventory through loading/unloading trucks, storing pallets, and recording bin locations.

• Perform material handling duties including wrapping pallets and supplying departments.

• Conduct housekeeping and 5S activities.

• Maintain organization through proper disposal of trash, empty pallets, and end boards.

• Manage storage rack systems.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow instructions

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods

• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

• Commitment to Printpack Philosophy and Core Values

Technical Requirements:

• Forklift operation experience preferred

• Safe operation of mobile equipment

Working Conditions:

• Primarily indoor environment with occasional outdoor work

• Mandatory use of PPE (hearing protection, safety glasses, hairnet, steel-toed shoes, uniform)
