Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

Manage Plant Non-Conformance System (15%)




  • Review process for dispositioning process non-conformances and provide trend data to production



Food Safety (15%)




  • Lead team efforts centered around programs to ensure food safety
  • Develop plant training, conduct internal inspections, and act as a point of contact with outside agencies
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, and customer requirements
  • Interpret and communicate customer requirements to plant production/support teams
  • Establish and audit PCPs, CCPs, and SOPs to monitor processes and ensure customer requirements are met
  • Review incidents of non-compliance and determine corrective actions



Customer Requirements (10%)




  • Work with leaders to identify and communicate customer requirements
  • Develop PCPs to ensure customer requirements are met



Manage Customer Complaints Process (35%)




  • Receive, review, disposition, and facilitate the complaint corrective action response process



Governmental Regulations (10%)




  • Be knowledgeable of various government regulations, audit, or legal requirements (e.g., AIB, USDA, FDA, IMS)



Daily Operation (15%)




  • Work with the quality assurance team to facilitate effective communication, interaction, and support between the quality group and other areas


Qualifications

  • Professional competencies (e.g. knowledge of the printing industry, knowledge of PeopleSoft, experience in project management, management experience)



  • Knowledge of flexographic printing and lamination



  • Statistical process control knowledge



  • HAACP and SQF knowledge



  • Minimum of three years management experience



  • Strong organizational skills.



  • Detail oriented.



  • Tactful, mature and able to get along with diverse personalities.



  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a phone, fax, copier, and printers.



  • Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
