The University of Arizona seeks a Coordinator, Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Operations to assist in the administration of the track and field and cross country programs and activities.

This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating daily operations of the Track and Field and Cross Country Programs.
  • Assist internal and external partners in coordinating home and away meets.
  • Coordinate team travel.
  • Create and retain all necessary business office documents related to team travel and recruiting, including submitting forms for approval and reimbursement.
  • Assist with home competition operations and logistics in collaboration with facilities staff, event management staff, and opposing team(s). Coordinate facility scheduling for practices and team events.
  • Coordinate team functions, meals, and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the Sports of Track & Field and Cross Country.
  • Knowledge of position related NCAA, Big-12, and University rules and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
  • Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
  • Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • One year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience in the Sports of Track & Field and Cross Country.
  • Experience working in a college athletic environment.
