The Quality Specialist leads and supports activities related to the implementation, maintenance, control, and monitoring of quality systems and standards. These systems ensure that materials and products meet quality requirements at all stages of production, in alignment with corporate quality policies, regulatory requirements, ISO standards, and customer specifications.

Working under the general direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Specialist is directly responsible for improving and maintaining various quality systems. These systems may include receiving, in-process, and final inspections/testing/release, product auditing, certification, calibration, complaint handling, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and nonconforming material control.

Lead/Support Quality Management Oversight:



  • Ensure daily activities of inspectors is completed in efficient matter
  • Supports training of inspectors
  • Assign tasks as needed
  • compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support in-process & final inspection, testing, and release.
  • Lead the transition from analog to digital inspection tools and processes, ensuring seamless integration and training for the inspection team.
  • Maintain quality systems such as receiving, in-process, and final inspection, product auditing, product certification, and calibration.
  • Manage product auditing, certification, and packaging/labeling activities.
  • Oversee nonconforming material handling, including containment, investigation, rework, and disposition.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and audit records.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment between quality standards and production goals
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections to demonstrate compliance with quality standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify root causes of issues, develop corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field Preferred
  • High School Diploma is Required
  • Quality Engineering Certification Preferred
  • 5 - 8 years experience regulated industry, such as life sciences, food and beverage, or aerospace with preferred emphasis in life sciences (e.g., pharma, biopharma, or medical devices Preferred
  • 3+ years Quality role within a manufacturing environment Required

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $52,000 to $72,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.]
