We are seeking a Supervisor Personnel Security to join our team.

The Supervisor Personnel Security is responsible for reducing internal risk to the Company by ensuring threat mitigations are established, proper tools are being utilized and aligning multiple professional disciplines to communicate internal risk within the Company. This role will be accountable for leading the governance of personnel security, supervising the hiring and screening procedures within the Company, utilizing existing tools and capabilities while incorporating new technologies to identify internal risks, develop the processes and procedures of personnel surety, construct an incident repository and records management system specific to internal risk, and be the lead investigator for internal threat incidents.

What You Will Do
  • Manage and oversee the Enterprise Security (ES) internal personnel security program and team.
  • Accountable for leading program development and implementing personnel surety risk processes and procedures.
  • Accountable for developing hiring screening process and working with multiple organizational teams.
  • Direct the implementation of personnel surety risk strategies, processes, procedures, and deliverables.
  • Lead in designing and / or improving personnel surety policy, procedure, and technical solutions.
  • Responsible for identifying the necessary technology(s) required to properly reduce internal risk to the Company.
  • Liaise with the Cybersecurity Department and align security intelligence with enterprise threat and risk activities.
  • Regularly provide data, metrics, and security information.
  • Responsible for leading all internal risk reviews and investigations.
Who You Are
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • 7 - 10 years of security management experience, depending on technical education, accreditations, and competency development.
  • Extensive experience working internal risk and background screening processes.
  • Effective leadership, management skills, and experience is required.
  • Investigative experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Well-developed problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and policy development and implementation.
Working Conditions
  • Work will be conducted in an office setting. Position will require office and remote working opportunities.
  • Occasional walking, climbing, lifting, and carrying equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Moderate travel could be expected.
