Position Description
The Clerkship Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Clinical Department Clerkship. The Clerkship Coordinator ensures proper organization and monitoring of medical student activities, as well as ensuring compliance with LCME regulation. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Major/Essential Functions
Organizational Skills:
-Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex administrative duties.
-Experience with scheduling, coordinating, and managing logistics for educational events or programs. Communication Skills:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, faculty, and medical staff.
-Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:
-Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address any challenges that may arise during clerkship rotations.
-Ability to manage conflict and mediate between students, faculty, and clinical staff when needed.
Technical Proficiency:
-Proficiency in using common office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.).
-Experience with student management software or learning management systems (LMS).
-Familiarity with scheduling software, databases, and medical education platforms.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.
