Job Description GDBIW's Life Cycle Engineering Department supports the design, integration, and installation of modernized systems and equipment on in-service Navy surface combatants. This position is part of the DDG 1000 Planning Yard Engineering team, and provides functional Mechanical Engineering analysis and Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) support for DDG 1000 Class Destroyers. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Performing functional mechanical engineering analysis for installation of shipalts onto DDG 1000 class ships.
Required/Preferred Education/Training
Required/Preferred Experience Engineer I: 0-1 years' experience Engineer II: 1-3 years' experience required Engineer III: 3+ years' experience required
