Job Description

As a Visiting Scholar, internally known as an Executive-in-Residence, you will engage in business development to increase enrollment in customized executive education programs. This includes developing and executing strategies for connecting with organizational decisions makers and the development and delivery of sales messages.

Additional responsibilities:

* Engage in business development to increase enrollment in graduate programs serving working professionals and executives. This includes developing and executing strategies for encouraging employers to sponsor employee participation in graduate programs and securing opportunities with employers to promote its offerings via lunch and learn type sessions or other forums.

* Design program content, simulations, and projects for customized offerings for clients and/or industry segments

* Serve as the instructor for customized executive education offerings.

* Conduct and publish research on topics related to business and management.

* Engage in consultative research to support sector or client needs and develop recommendations and/or programming in response to research findings

* Teach up to 3 classes in undergraduate or graduate programs

This is a 9 or 12-month, full-time, benefit-eligible unranked academic position.

Qualifications

DBA or PhD in business or a related area

10 years in senior leadership roles in a business or related field

1 year experience in business development and relationship management

Prior experience teaching working professionals and executives in graduate or customized executive education
