Job Summary
Responsible for the purchasing and procurement of all freight incoming and outgoing for all warehouses, both domestic and international. Provides clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations. Coordinates inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. Supports a variety of logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Duties and Responsibilities
Provides support and assistance to global business units:
Performs on call duties on a rotational basis in support of global logistics:
Acts as interface for issues related to shipping, invoicing for forwarding agents, shipping agents, customs brokers, packers, carriers, suppliers, rig sites, area offices and corporate office:
Ensure on-time and accurate deliveries of required materials at lowest total system cost
Qualification Requirements
Minimun Education:Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an undergraduate degree Minimum Experience:5 years experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
