Cash Equities Trader / EMEA or APAC Region

Siebert Williams Shank is conducting a search for a cash equity trader with either a EMEA or APAC regional focus to join its equity trading desk and cover U.S. institutional clients. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, resourceful self-starter eager to work in a small company environment and with experience working the equity market hours of the covered region. The Firm will consider candidates to work from one of its regional offices nationwide.

Qualifications

  • SIE, Series 7, 24, 57 and 63 required
  • Proven ability to execute client orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Experience working live international market trading hours
  • Ability to maintain, build and develop client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Knowledge of clearing, reconciliations and settling trades, a plus

We are Committed to Fair Pay. At SWS, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The starting total fixed compensation for this position is $150,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
