An excellent opportunity to join our Azelis Care operations team in a unique role that combines customer experience and supply chain. We seek a highly organized, detail-oriented associate to join our Azelis Care operations team in the role of Direct Ship Order Specialist. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end direct ship order management process, including accurate order processing, timely fulfilment, excellent customer experience, and navigating internal and external stakeholders throughout the order lifecycle. A successful candidate will be a strong communicator, experienced with order processing and ERP systems, familiar with fulfilment processes, and an effective cross-functional collaborator. The role provides exposure and skill development across multiple operational departments.

Primary responsibilities involve ownership of the end-to-end direct ship order management process, including accurate order processing, timely fulfilment, excellent customer experience, and communicating with internal departments and external (supplier) stakeholders throughout the order lifecycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the end-to-end direct ship order management process.
  • Accurately process and manage customer sales and/or purchase orders.
  • Verify order details, pricing, and availability of products.
  • Communicate and coordinate with principal (supplier), customer, shipping team, and other internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Provide excellent customer experience through timely, thorough, and accurate response to customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, and billing.
  • Monitor and resolve order discrepancies, cancellations, and returns.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and shipping details.
  • Collaborate with principal (supplier), sales, shipping team, and other functional partners to improve order processing and/or customer experience.
  • Comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Learn and adhere to the principles of Responsible Distribution.
  • Process and manage direct orders non-conformances (NCRs)
  • Perform other activities, responsibilities, and assignments when directed.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional experience across customer service and/or supply chain (buying, inventory management). Preference for three or more years of professional experience.
  • Experience in Personal Care, Home Care, and/or Industrial Cleaning preferred
  • Experience in Chemical industry preferred.
  • Work experience showing the ability to oversee multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Experience showing strength in prioritization, taking initiative, and independent ownership and follow-up to complete assignments.
  • Initiative-taking, honest, dependable and a high-level of integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, well organized, and strong analytical and math skills.
  • Experience with modern ERP (SAP, MD365 preferred) and planning systems.
  • Comfortable working with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence.
  • Able to effectively work in a team-based and quality driven environment.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with modern ERP (SAP, MD365, Chempax preferred) and planning systems, and comfortable working with MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
