Set up and operate all of the equipment in our Braze department.

  • Able to set-up and operate all Blue Devils Cell equipment
  • Re-rounder
  • Washer
  • Expanders
  • Presses
  • Crimper
  • Flare equipment
  • Copper braze ovens
  • Must be able to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts, obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship-sets, etc.
  • Be able to identify, analyze, and evaluate machine and material problems
  • Requires the ability to conduct and evaluate destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part
  • Must be capable of making minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Good math and reading skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to read blue prints
  • Be able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, including bevel protractor, micrometers, calipers and scales
