ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Principal IT Business Analyst, Commercial to join our IT team within our Billerica, MA headquarters. As a Principal Commercial IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner bridging business operations and technology solutions across our commercial operations, including sales, marketing, and customer success functions. This role combines deep business acumen with technical expertise to drive digital transformation initiatives and optimize commercial technology platforms. This role reports to the VP, IT Business Partner & Business Delivery Center
WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Lead complex business analysis initiatives for commercial technology platforms, with primary focus on Salesforce and integrated marketing/sales technologies
  • Partner with sales operations, marketing, and customer success teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design and optimize end-to-end business processes across the commercial tech stack to drive efficiency and revenue growth
  • Develop comprehensive solution designs, including process flows, user stories, and technical specifications
  • Provide subject matter expertise in commercial systems architecture, particularly in areas of sales operations, marketing automation, and customer engagement platforms
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across multiple levels of the organization, from executive leadership to end users
  • Serve as a thought leader in commercial technology best practices
  • Partner with the Commercial team on user stories crafting and execution from an End to End processing
  • Drive strategic initiatives that directly impact revenue generation and commercial operations
  • Influence technology roadmap for commercial systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex technology solutions
  • Partner with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business strategy


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience in commercial technology


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Salesforce certifications preferred (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder)
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation
  • Track record of successful large-scale technology transformation projects
  • Influence technology roadmap for commercial systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex technology solutions
  • Partner with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot)
  • Understanding of sales operations tools (e.g., Outreach)
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of API integrations and data flow architectures
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
