Position Summary:

Join our team as a Vallen Manager- Accounting. In this role you will be reporting to the VP of Finance. This role is a proactive partner to the global business team and provides hands-on leadership around consolidated financial reporting, M&A activity, technical accounting, and audit management. This is a hybrid position with 1 to 2 days in the office most weeks.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates global financial consolidation
  • Demonstrate leadership and engagement in developing a high functioning team
  • Leads efforts to continually improve accounting policies
  • Develop and/or review internal and external financial statements
  • Lead accounting for consolidating newly acquired companies
  • Assesses current financial operations and drives simplification and process improvements
  • Oversee external audit and lender reporting

Job Requirements and Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Blend of public accounting and industry experience strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in global consolidations, FX treatment, and technical accounting leadership
