We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position ofSr. Scientistbased inPlatteville, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of a Senior Project Manager, advise and supervise multiple consultants for groundwater site assessment and oversight of remediation system design and implementation.
  • Communicate with Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) regulators and consultants in regard to groundwater assessment and remediation ECMC 900 series rules reporting.
  • Evaluate proposed site assessment activities. Conduct site inspections of active assessment and remediation sites and implementation of Oxy/GSH health and safety programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define land access requirements for assessments and remediation systems on third-party owned properties.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders concerning assessment and remediation project status and progress.
  • Assist Project Management team with budget tracking and data analysis.

Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience working on groundwater assessment and remediation projects in Colorado.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
The salary range for this position is:$ 112,800 - $ 155,100 Annual

*Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements may receive consideration for higher-level role given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
