As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will work as part of the Operations and Business Insights (OBI) team, owning and driving the future of our launch and pricing tools. OBI serves as the center of product launch and business model excellence for Microsoft. Our team directs Microsoft's commercial portfolio for pricing, packaging, licensing, channel, and monetization strategies. Few teams exist that have such a direct impact on the business and the entire industry. The OBI team is on a user-centric, data-driven mission to modernize the user experience. Our Technical Program Managers are responsible for designing and building prototypes and solutions across the solution stack that launches commercial and Azure Microsoft products to market. Our focus is on continuous improvement and how we can launch product pricing faster, more accurately, and at ever greater volume. We strive each day to be better than the last, looking for opportunities both small and large. Of course, Artificial Intelligence factors in enormously to our near-term and long-term future - we are embedding it as a business multiplier in our tools. We are building Digital Agents and Assistants, and you'll be able to drive maximum impact using these and related emergent technologies. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Senior Technical Program Manager - in this role, you will own key internal products to speed and scale our launch operations across all of Microsoft's products. You will build roadmaps, envision the future capabilities of your products, write detailed requirements with flows to spec out what they should do, collaborate with engineering teams to build and test them, and make sure your users are using them successfully every day! Responsibilities Define product vision and strategy, leveraging a deep understanding of the customer experience. Identify customers' unmet or unknown needs and opportunities for enhancements or development of multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) via quantitative (e.g., usage, telemetry) and qualitative analyses (e.g., customer usage, various listening systems, feedback channels of market and industry trends).Own the product roadmap and build consensus on product strategy/vision across all functions and align with internal/external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for product/ service feature areas. Partner with engineering, partner teams, and stakeholders to identify and measure progress with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Break ambiguous and complex problems into a manageable list of scenarios, features and detailed requirements with clearly articulated documents. Closely partner with our partner software engineering teams to land key product capabilities and business goals. Establish & maintain understanding of current AI tools & capabilities to identify and implement AI to accelerate launch improvement initiatives and maximize user satisfaction.Work across all stages of product lifecycle from product definition, planning, release, modifications, maintenance, and feature deprecation.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values
