Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking a Product Support Maintenance Engineer to support one of our key aerospace manufacturing clients. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates who can provide onsite support at a Belcan office to enhance team collaboration.
In this role, you will be a key team member responsible for projects related to airframe inspection criteria and generating inspection documentation. Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3) contractual requirements and experience with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
*Collaborate within a team of Maintenance Engineers to execute MSG-3 analysis for Structures, Systems, and Zonal Analysis.
*Analyze complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance and repair requirements, procedures, and instructions.
*Influence product definition, design, and configuration to ensure optimal maintainability.
*Evaluate engineering changes based on customer requirements, propose program changes, and oversee implementation.
*Analyze maintenance and operational data to develop and support flight operation and maintenance equipment requirements.
*Define, evaluate, and maintain engineering supportability, maintainability, and operability requirements for aerospace products and systems.
*Participate in or lead virtual working group meetings to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s degree in a related technical field (Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering/Technology).
*Familiarity with the concepts of MSG-3 contractual requirements or equivalent airframe maintenance experience.
*1 to 2 years of experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
*1 to 2 years of experience in understanding technical manuals such as:
oCommercial Maintenance Manuals
oMilitary Technical Orders
oIllustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
oAircraft Maintenance Manuals
*Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
*Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
*3 to 5 years" industry experience in aerospace maintenance or product support.
*Hands-on experience with commercial and military aircraft systems and modifications.
*Experience using and applying military and commercial maintenance publications, including:
oInstructions for Continued Airworthiness
oOverhaul Manuals
oTechnical Orders
oWiring Diagrams
oParts Illustrated Manuals
