Department Summary The TRIO Talent Search HEB ISD office at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Program Project Specialist. The office of TRIO Programs is a department within the Division of Student Affairs. Position Overview This position is for a full time, Program Project Specialist who will be located at Hurst-Euless-Bedford (HEB) ISD schools. The Program Project Specialist will work to provide services to low-income and first-generation high school students, with the goal of preparing them for successful entry into postsecondary education. This position will be on-site at assigned schools located in HEB ISD. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field and one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service skills. Ability to provide leadership for student employees and volunteers. Experience in networking across departments and programs. Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population. Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously execute multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written communication, and computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Preference provided to candidates with TRIO experience (personal & professional), Required License/Registration/Certifications Texas Drivers License Job Duties:
Work Schedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM The scope of the position requires working evenings and weekends. Occasional out-of-town travel, including overnight stays, is required.
