What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: This role sits at the intersection of security, technology, and business, ensuring our digital products are secure by design while delivering seamless user experiences. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, compliance, and UX, to develop innovative solutions that enhance the security of our member-base without compromising usability. - Define and execute the product roadmap for security-focused features, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to integrate security controls into digital products, balancing risk mitigation with user experience.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand security challenges, identify risks, and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring continuous improvement through feedback loops and analytics.
- Translate security requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt security strategies.
- Champion a security-first mindset across product teams, advocating for best practices in data protection, authentication, and threat mitigation.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and sales teams to ensure security features are effectively communicated and adopted by users.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).

What You'll Need
|
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably in security, cybersecurity, or identity and access management (IAM).
- Strong understanding of security and fraud prevention principles, assessment frameworks, and basic compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FFIEC/NCUA/CFPB guidelines, GDPR, etc).
- Experience working with engineering teams to build security features, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), device fingerprinting, or risk-based modeling.
- Ability to analyze security risks and translate them into actionable product improvements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries with strict security requirements.
- Knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and incident response processes.
- Background in software engineering, cybersecurity, or IT security is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, writing skills, organizational skills with attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
