Duties & Responsibilities



  • Act as a community based information resource hub for all families. This includes: travel to site locations in each of the towns in CTI's CFCE catchment area; maintenance and distribution of resource folders for families; outreach to families and local agencies in each town through various avenues such as a bi-monthly newsletter, CFCE brochure, resource manual and resource folders; work collaboratively with community agencies such as libraries, town halls, recreation centers, public schools and childcare centers to assist with outreach to families.
  • Promote evidence-based education, family engagement and literacy support for families in each of the towns in the catchment area; facilitate CFCE playgroups; collaborate with local Early Intervention programs on playgroup programs; facilitate family enrichment and literacy programming; assist families with transition from home or daycare to school.
  • Maintain education supplies used for playgroups to ensure appropriate safety, quality and quantity needed to support the curriculum.
  • Attend the CFCE Council meetings; recruit council members to represent each of the towns in the catchment area; meetings to be held on a bi-monthly monthly basis.
  • Collect monthly attendance information from CFCE programming for intake and reporting needs.
  • Communicate information as necessary to the CFCE Supervisor and point person at Department of Early Education and Care.
  • Attend meetings with the CFCE Supervisor and trainings held by Department of Early Education and Care.
  • Attend individual and Family Resource Network staff meetings as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Education



  • Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
  • Excellent Customer Service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems.
  • Excellent crisis management skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • 1-3 years in ECE, child development and parent support required.
  • Assoicates Degree
