A global growing commercial insurance broker with a dynamic team of over 50 employees is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Executive with a solid background in Self-Funding. Reporting to the VP of Employee Benefits, the Account Executive will manage an assigned list of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and account retention. Additionally, this role will support the sales team to obtain new clients who could benefit from Self-Funding, with eligibility for new business commissions. This position is anticipated to start with 5-10 clients and will have new clients added to your book of business typically around 20 clients total.

They offer a competitive salary with commission and excellent benefits. This position is remote with the expectation of coming into the Schaumburg office once per month.

Qualifications:



  • At least five years of Employee Benefits experience within a brokerage environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Self-Funding Plans, both bundled and unbundled approaches.
  • Active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office
  • Strong Problem-solving, project management, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (10%)
