Job Overview

We are currently looking fora paid Marketing Intern to join our Showroom team in Los Angeles, CA. This position will be working onsite at the Los Angeles Showroom.

Get ready for an adventurous summer as a Haworth intern! You'll join a cohort of around 50 other dynamic interns for a 12-week program packed with hands-on learning. Throughout the summer you will dive into real projects that will give you a taste of what it's like to work in a leading business and manufacturing environment.This role offers a minimum hourly rate of $22.20.

Each week brings new experiences as a group. Sharpen your skills with interactive workshops on networking, public speaking, and using AI tools in a business environment. By the end of the summer, you'll leave with real skills, an expanded professional network, and memories to last a lifetime. This is your chance to take your career to new heights!

The intern on this team will help with updating the materials library of samples organizing, stocking inventory, making tags. As well as, assist the Architects & Designer team to pull samples for projects. Assisting with our loaner program, making sure items are properly tagged and recorded on our database. Assist with setting up industry event in our local market.You will also learn the ins and outs of running a premier furniture showroom: material library and furniture sample loaner program maintenance, hosting local market industry events, and showroom visitors.

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Marketing,Business Administration, or closely related degrees with at least a junior-level status by Fall of 2025.
• Ability to commute and work daily On-site in Los Angeles from May 2025 to August 2025.
• Applicant must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Design or Administration experience
• Ability to lift 20-30lbs without assistance (moving furniture)

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
• Prior Haworth Experience
• Previous Employment Experience
• Extra-Curricular Activity Experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Hospitality or Customer Service Experience

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills
