The Fuel Logistics Manager, Dispatch, oversees the efficient coordination and scheduling of fuel deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation to Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) and other customers. This role requires strong leadership, logistical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence. The Manager will supervise a team of dispatchers and drivers, manage route planning, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch & Logistics Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of fuel deliveries, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction. Monitor fuel inventory levels and coordinate deliveries accordingly. Optimize route planning to minimize costs and maximize productivity. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Operational Oversight: Collaborate with suppliers, drivers, and customers to ensure seamless fuel delivery operations. Monitor real-time delivery status and address any disruptions proactively. Implement and improve processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, schedules, and fuel inventory. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) and industry regulations. Promote and enforce safety protocols for drivers and dispatchers. Investigate and resolve any operational incidents or compliance concerns. Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. 5+ years of experience in industry/ dispatch, logistics, or transportation management. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to analyze and optimize logistics operations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of fuel distribution regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in dispatch software and logistics technology. Preferred Skill: People Management & Leadership: Supervise, train, and support dispatchers and drivers to enhance team performance. Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs as needed. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
