The General, a subsidiary of Sentry Insurance, is looking for an Associate Desk Adjuster - Fast Track to join our team. Entry-level role that investigates and maintains auto fast track claims. Determines liability, secures information, reviews coverages, arranges appraisals, and settles claims. Participates in required training activities and learns investigation and settlement techniques. Learns and develops an understanding of corporate procedures and philosophies. What You'll Do As an Associate Desk Claims Adjuster - Fast Track, you will: Investigates origin and cause of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, special investigation unit, other adjusters, public personnel, etc. Attends a new employee training program that includes claim processing in various systems, policy and procedures, and company culture and its application to the Claim environment as needed. Handles files with limited authority based on management discretion. May be required to complete other assignments, job duties, or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience. What it Takes Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. Basic knowledge and understanding of claim handling process. Obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing as required. Work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Travel Requirements up to 10%. Catastrophe duty up to 75% as applicable.
