*Description* TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled Principal Financial Analyst / Project Controller to join our client. This role involves managing and tracking financial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring accurate cost planning, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, experience with SAP and advanced Excel, and the ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: *Elicit, track, and manage cost planning for specific projects, including accrual reporting, forecasting, invoice tracking, and client tracking. *Organize requirements, estimates, and prepare materials to support project funding and kickoff processes. *Partner with various stakeholders to influence key business decisions and improve processes. *Self-manage objectives, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately in a fast-paced environment. *Utilize SAP for pulling reports, exporting data, and managing actuals. *Design complex models and reports in Excel, including VLookup, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas. *Manage multiple project financials, priorities, and tasks across various projects and teams, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality. *Understand and manage general ledger, journal entries, and overall project execution processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and scheduling. *Lead requirements gathering workshops and process development workshops involving business stakeholders and delivery teams. *Perform accounting, reporting, business rules, and data conversion functions as needed. *Coordinate, track, and report technology project financials, including establishing and maintaining project budgets and resource plans. *Prepare detailed monthly project forecasts and manage project review meetings. *Identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring appropriate communication with end users. *Build credibility with internal clients and navigate organizational structures effectively. *Prepare project scoping and funding artifacts in collaboration with delivery and engineering team leads. *Monitor financial performance of projects using SAP reports and coordinate budgetary adjustments with Finance personnel. *Assist with vendor engagement processes and contract monitoring, including RFPs, SOWs, and resource monitoring. *Mentor and coach team members, providing expertise and guidance. *Skills* Portfolio analysis, Relationship management, Accounting, FInancial accounting, financial accruals, capital budgeting, Expense budgeting, Forecasting, Excel, excel analysis, reporting, finance, budget planning, SAP, MYPPM, project management, project coordination *Top Skills Details* Portfolio analysis,Relationship management,Accounting,FInancial accounting,financial accruals,capital budgeting,Expense budgeting,Forecasting,Excel,excel analysis,reporting,finance,budget planning *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Required Intangible Skills (must have): Communication: *Excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial data and insights to multiple audiences, including non-technical stakeholders. *Clearly articulate business issues and concerns with staff, peers, superiors, and external partners.
