  • Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.

Responsibilities

  • The surgery inventory coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of perioperative inventory.
  • Responsibilities include procurement, inventory management and maintenance.
  • This position requires a high degree of critical thinking to ensure the right supplies and services are available to support the clinical operations of the surgical department to provide the best care for the patient by reacting to planned and unplanned requests for patient treatment.
  • This role will serve as a liaison for Surgery, Materials Management, physicians, and vendors.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum qualifications of 2-3 years purchasing/perioperative inventory management in healthcare
  • Proficient in MS Office software programs.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • High School or GED
  • Associate degree
