Role Objectives
- Act as a key "voice of the customer" in CSBG and compel the organization to be market driven.
- Maintain a professional awareness of industry cost / performance roadmaps, technical developments, competitor activity, customer needs and other market trends.
- Advise on the planning and specification of products, ensuring that the products meet the customer's needs and lead the market in terms of performance.
- Along with the respective Product Managers and Product Marketing teams, own key commercial analysis and market requirement specification (MRS) input into the product development process ensuring product differentiation
- Act as the technical authority / point of contact for defined key customers / projects.
- Take responsibility for certain key strategic partnerships with external organizations / businesses.
What You'll Do
Market Market sizing and Lam Research SAM for all CSBG products in collaboration with Product Marketing Focused on 3-5 year market trend / needs Define "layers of opportunity" for CSBG portfolio in existing market and integration challenges Define and translate market trends for product management / marketing Engage with market research organizations to validate and gain insight into market trends Competitors Develop and communicate competitive position for CSBG portfolio in support of developing a differentiated product offering Maintain CSBG competitive benchmarks vs. our key competitors and work with the larger Lam community to help identify new, emerging competitive threats. Customers By engaging closely with the Lam Global Customer Operation team and CSBG product lines develop a clear understanding of the customer perspective Understand customer technology and productivity roadmaps and their impact on CSBG strategy. Understand customer integration challenges and the opportunities that they may offer for Lam. Product Covers all product lines within CSBG- Reliant, Spares, Service and Upgrades Help develop and define relevant MRS documents for all CSBG strategic product developments Promotion Lead the development of market and application specific sales collateral Coordinate Product Marketing/ Management materials Drive the development of integrated marketing packages that support the holistic value of CSBG Interact with customers at workshops and TRMs Represent Lam Research at customer events such as conferences and exhibitions where appropriate Place Work with account teams to gain a greater understanding / better relationship with customers Be actively involved in new product penetrations strategies Train and educate regional teams in relation to market / application specific solutions from CSBG Interface with all CSBG Groups and when needed Lam product groups and central business functions.
Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience. An advanced degree preferred.
