Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Director, Registration.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is located at our Sentara Careplex with oversite and travel to Virginia Beach, Halifax, Obici and Williamsburg.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • 5 years of management experience in lieu of degree.
  • Accounts receivable experience required.
  • Billing experience required.
  • Coding experience required.
  • Collections experience required.

Expectations for this Role:

Sentara Health is seeking a Director, Registration. This person will assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success of Registration Services. Areas of responsibility are high volume and have significant strategic and financial impact on current and future success of SHC. Responsible for the coordination of the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Contributes to the success of hospitals through achievement of system, hospital, and business unit goals. Provides leadership and administers human resource policies and practices in a multi-skilled, multi-functional environment. Functions as a member of the Revenue Cycle Management Team.
