JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design, develop, install, and maintain equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes.
* Assists in creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule.
* Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments.
* Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements
* Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
* Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.
* Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.
* Develop production drawings.
* Put together Bill Of Materials (BOM).
* Issue production drawings and maintain records of all changes through production.
* Inspect Power Envelops (Switchgear bare bone structure) from supplier.
* Develop PLC program from templates (sometimes it requires major changes).
* Develop Shop Test document.
* Perform Engineering test (test Sequence of Operation) to make sure the project match the specs.
* Perform Customer Witness Test.
* Clean up project after CWT and prepare for shipping.
* Develop Field Start up test document.
* Develop Operation Manuals for customer use.
* Support Field Engineering team during start up stage.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
* 8-10 years experience required.
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Expert ability to work independently and manage one"s time.
* Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
* Technical proficiency in some software applications..
* PLC programming (Schneider, Rockell A-B).
* Electrical Power Protection (Schweitzer, GE, ABB, Basler).
* Emergency Electrical Power System controls (Generators, Turbines, UPS, ATS).
