Supply Chain Analyst I
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to monitor, analyze, and improve the flow of materials, resources, and information across our supply chain. In this role, you will support critical processes by collaborating with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, and transportation teams. You'll identify bottlenecks, track supplier performance, and provide data-driven insights that optimize delivery, cost, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor purchase orders and ensure schedule dates are accurate and achievable.
Communicate regularly with suppliers to drive on-time delivery performance.
Perform root cause analysis of late deliveries and partner with suppliers on corrective actions.
Track open commitments, receiving discrepancies, returns, and supplier corrective actions; coordinate with finance and receiving to resolve issues.
Manage and escalate component shortages, including critical shortages, to resolution.
Support procurement in resolving discrepancies and negotiating supplier terms.
Prepare proposal requests aligned with contract requirements.
Conduct data analysis to evaluate business cases, monitor supply chain performance, and prepare weekly KPI/metrics reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives across supply chain processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in material cost estimating and supply chain (Aerospace preferred).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, imports, shared documents).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing practices, contract types, negotiations, and supplier performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO standards.
Experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Ability to develop training materials and support team development.
Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration.
Work Environment
Office-based with regular interaction in a manufacturing/machine shop setting.
Exposure to fluids, fumes, airborne particles, moving parts, noise, and vibration may occur.
Standard office equipment and PPE required when applicable.
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule (8 hours/day), with overtime or weekend work as needed.
Some local travel may be required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, stoop, crouch, and reach regularly.
Frequent use of hands to handle or feel; ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

This position is at our Parsippany, NJ office location.
Pay Range: $67,000 to $82,000
