Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.


Responsibilities

As a Air National Guard Operating Location (AOL) IT/Security SME with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

    Installation, support, and maintenance of AOL workstations
  • Configure software, modify software configuration, and perform basic configuration management IAW with all STIGs and other Cybersecurity requirements to include JSIG.
  • Plan for and respond to service outages and other problems.
  • Work as part of project team in design and integration of OTTI technologies and DTOC solutions to meet mission requirements.
  • Provide software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications and M&S tools.
  • Support Host Base Security System (HBSS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions and continuous monitoring.
  • Implement client workstations software patches, security fixes and service releases.
  • Identify, analyze, and document long range requirements.
  • Have working knowledge of Physical Security artifacts required for maintaining Authority to Operate
  • Liaison with AOL Host Base Wing on collection of artifacts that Information Assurance team requires
  • Conduct minimum of 4 visits per year to AOL that doesn't have dedicated IT/Security support.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
  • Secret Clearance
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience conducting training in a DMO environment
  • Current or previous Senior Director, Mission Crew Coordinator or Air Battle Manager with current (within the last five (5) years) robust C2 background
  • Current or previous Weapons School graduate (desired), C2 instructor (required) and minimum five (5) years operational C2 experience


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $78,100.00/Yr. - USD $164,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
