Vice President, Product and Innovation

By joining the Brivo team you will be helping to accelerate the move of the physical security industry to the cloud. You will be responsible for driving innovative, customer-centric solutions using IOT devices and cloud services.

Our Vice President of Product and Innovation (VPP) will play a pivotal role in our global growth. You will be responsible for the product vision and development of our entire product line crossing multiple vertical markets with world-wide reach.

The ideal candidate will be a product visionary and technology thought leader with the innovation and execution skills to deliver in a fast-paced, agile, SaaS environment. You will possess the leadership skills to grow and develop a talented team. You will have a commercial orientation, ability to assess market opportunities and solutions using data throughout the product development lifecycle, including post launch success metrics. The role will encompass all aspects of Product Management from growing a team to delivering outstanding results.

This position is based at our headquarters in Bethesda, MD, and requires the ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, coach and manage a team of product managers and designers to drive innovation and growth
• Own the product vision with high-impact strategy planning and execution
• Define and maintain the overall product strategy and roadmap
• Translate the product strategy vision into action by executing on business case development, competitive analysis, product-market fit and product differentiation
• Serve as the voice of the customer
• Drive the definition, prioritization and execution of product strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders and the executive team
• Increase revenue growth and customer satisfaction by delivering a range of new products and product enhancements that will be well received in the marketplace
• Represent Brivo to the industry and participate in industry forums and standard bodies
• Act as a leader within the company and be a role model for the company culture

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of Software and IoT Product Management leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science or engineering focus a plus)
• MBA is a plus
• Experience working with SaaS based products
• Organized, strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

The total compensation package for this full-time position includes a salary range of $220,000 - $280,000. Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions. In addition to cash compensation (includes base salary and, where applicable, may include incentive or overtime pay), Brivonians are eligible for benefits & perks (www.brivo.com/about/careers) based on their work locations.
