Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join us at our diverse team in Freeport, Illinois. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will performa wide range of procedures following standard instructions to complete shipping papers, pack, label, address, and load on appropriately selected method of shipping.
This is a 1st Shift position that pays $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, DOE.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Receive raw materials and other purchased goods, review packing slip for proper quantities and submit for proper documentation processing.
- Deliver goods to proper locations after completion of the receiving process. Operate various workstations to process outbound shipments.
- Complete all required transactions in SAP. Complete shipping papers correctly, including export documents.
- Recognize unusual conditions and report to appropriate Supervisor and/or Lead.
- Operate forklift, load, and unload trucks for best methods of shipment. Become cross trained to perform many types of tasks.
- Use of RF scanners for bar coding of shipments.
- Responsible for following all department control plans and procedures in addition to following all TPE, ISO and VPP safety programs.
- Daily housekeeping and departmental organization is also required.
- Valid drivers license required and may use various company vehicles to make out of plant pickups or deliveries.

Must be able to climb, bend, reach, and lift-up to 50lbs. Must be proficient in using an SAP/ERP system.
