SUMMARY
Responsible for creating and implementing therapeutic activities for residents in the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Thirty-six (36) hours Activity Director courses required
• Other requirements include Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) certification and 6 months experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is required. Experience working in programming is strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate and work well with people
• Capable of working independently
• Physical environment includes occasional standing or walking; minimal lifting or other physical exertion
• The work environment involves exposure to blood-borne pathogens and infectious diseases
