EnSafe is seeking applications for a Part-time Health & Safety (H&S) Technician in Knoxville or Nashville, TN, to support SE projects.

EnSafe is an employee-owned, global environmental consulting and engineering firm. We strive to provide innovative, creative solutions for our clients. EnSafe specializes in custom solutions in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural & Water Resources, Health & Safety, and Technology with offices operating within the U.S.

What We Are Looking For

As a Health and Safety Technician, you will work on a wide- range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

* Providing consulting advice to industrial and commercial companies including aerospace, chemicals, manufacturing, pulp and paper, automotive, etc.

* Conducting safety and health audits, hazard and risk assessments, ergonomics, creating SOPs, creating presentations and training.

* Providing professional consulting services relating to health and safety management systems (OSHA VPP, ISO 45001), process safety management, confined space, machine guarding, lockout tagout, etc.

Qualifications:

* B.S. degree in environmental health, safety, or related discipline or 20 or more years of utilities-related experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic

* Initiative, attention to detail, analytical thinking, accountability, and commitment to quality and accuracy.

* Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CUSP, or CHMM are preferred

* Local and domestic travel is required. Weekly workload may range from zero to 20+ hours per week.
