Summary
The Document Control Coordinator is a member of the Process Engineering team. This position supports all product lines shipping from the Southern Fulfillment Center by providing order specific, printed and bound installation instruction manuals; emailing digital installation instructions; database updates of multiple company installation manuals; maintaining product history; and providing print services for internal forms and documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through dedicated service and support of Southern Fulfillment Center document requirements.
- Manages day to day influx of orders which require specific documentation that must be collected, merged, printed, archived, and assembled to meet the fast- paced demand of the SFC production schedule.
- Produce high quality printed, bound documentation to accompany each play equipment order. Maintain accurate database of installation sheets for companies supported by the SFC. Create and maintain physical as well as digital product history files. Create and maintain archive files for order history.
- Speed and accuracy are imperative. Must be able to identify accurate documentation required, create order specific booklets which are printed, bound and branded, provide warning labels and age-appropriate labels specific to each order. Determine if additional plan drawings are required know where to locate said drawings, print, and bind with order specific documents.
- Coordinate printer software and equipment upgrades prior to the end of the lease period. Must be able to work closely with management and IT to interview new software and printer/copier suppliers.
- Responsibilities include machine training and maintenance. Troubleshooting problems with machines and/or software via phone, webinar, and in person. Must become and remain familiar with each machine: B&W and Color Copier/Printers; Punch and Binding machines, and other binding equipment. Oversee inventory levels of paper, labels, printed documents, binders, printing supplies, etc.

Education and/or Experience
- Two-year Associates degree and/or two years of experience in fast paced production type work environment.
- Must have excellent computer skills with outstanding speed and accuracy in data input.
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and be able to adapt and learn new variable data printing solutions software.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
- Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software. Experience with variable data printing software is preferred.
