Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented person to join our team as the Regional Sales Manager, Security Camera Trailers (RSM, SCT) for the Midwest. This position is an exempt, full-time role with flexible hours, and reports to the Director of Sales, Security Camera Trailers. Overnight and out-state travel is required (expected to be up to 12 days per month to start, then reducing as the territory is developed).

This is a remote position, with preference for candidates located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.

The RSM, SCT will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within a designated region. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners, and managing a sales team to achieve revenue targets. The Regional Sales Manager will focus on promoting and selling security camera trailers, understanding customer needs, and providing solutions that meet those needs.

Some of the key responsibilities include:



  • Identifying, recruiting, and supporting new channel partners for Street Smart's Security Camera Trailer business.
  • Regional sales management, selling to direct customers
  • Identify and develop a pipeline of potential clients through various lead generation strategies, including networking, referrals, industry events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of Street Smarts security solutions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed territory sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the region.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking sales metrics, forecasting, and analyzing results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and stay informed about market trends and developments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience developing a new geographic sales territory
  • Experience within the security industry selling to end customer accounts and security integrators
  • The ability to develop and deliver product presentations to large groups and executives
  • The ability to target and engage new accounts based on similarity to existing accounts
  • A willingness to engage in a mix of outbound and inbound sales
  • A track record of success in establishing and scaling profitable channel partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills



Required Qualifications



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' B2B sales experience (resumes will not be considered without this)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for a DOT medical card to drive a ton pickup truck while towing a trailer (considered a Commercial Motor Vehicle)
  • Computer skills and proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office, Google and Salesforce products.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred



Physical and Mental Demands

The RSM, SCT is predominantly an office-based role, but may at times require assisting with the transportation, setup and deployment of Security Camera Trailers and other equipment. The primary physical and mental demands include:




  • Remains in a stationary position (sitting or standing) 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a scanner, copy machine and printer.
  • Communicates with others in their area of expertise, both internally and externally. Exchanges accurate information in these situations.
  • Frequently moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds typically, but at times up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally, the individual in this position will need to stand, reach, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include normal vision.
  • The office environment will have normal lighting and climate control tolerances.
  • Additionally, the office setting will have moderate noise exposure, i.e. business office with computers, printers, and light traffic.
  • Travel conditions may involve being in an aircraft or automobile for extended periods of time.
  • Work is performed mostly in a home office at a minimum of 40 hours a week.
