Job Description

The Career Coach is dedicated to supporting employees in achieving their professional growth and career development goals. As a Career Coach, you will work closely with individuals across various departments to provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic advice to enhance their career trajectories within our organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Individual Coaching Sessions: Conduct personalized coaching sessions with employees to assess career goals, strengths, and areas for development.

  • Career Planning: Assist employees in creating actionable career development plans, including setting SMART goals and identifying relevant skills and experiences needed for advancement.

  • Skill Assessment: In conjunction with our talent marketplace platform, evaluate employees' skills, interests, and values to align with career aspirations.

  • Professional Development: Recommend internal and external training programs, workshops, and resources to support continuous learning and skill enhancement.

  • Networking and Mentoring: Facilitate networking opportunities and connect employees with internal mentors or industry professionals to broaden their professional networks.

  • Career Transition Support: Assist employees during periods of career transition, such as promotions, lateral moves, or career shifts within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of career development theories and practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with employees at all organizational levels.

  • Flexibility to adapt coaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of employees.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in career coaching.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in talent management and career advancement.

  • Requires up to 25% domestic travel

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Career Coach, HR professional, or in a related role.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Certification in coaching preferred.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.

$109,020.00 - $181,700.00
