Responsibilities

This position will comply with bank and investor guidelines with portfolio and investor mortgage loans, conducting required functions for administrative and property preservation management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Executes invoicing/accounts payable functions as related to department workflow:
    • Reviews and processes invoices from 3rd party vendors
    • Maintains accounting software records with accurate data
    • Collaborates with Accounts Payable to ensure proper payments to vendors
    • Reconciles all general ledgers associated with the department's workflow
    • Collaborates with Loan Operations for Payoff processing
    • Collaborates with Business Information Services to maintain integrity of writing, maintaining, and running system-based reports.
    • Provides assistance to borrowers and vendors as related to protective advance fees
    • Establish and maintain department files and records
  • Collaborates with:
    • All CRES staff to ensure borrowers are properly addressed regarding entire workflow of protective advance fees
    • Property Preservation Team to ensure vendors and borrowers are properly addressed regarding entire workflow of protective advance fees
    • Investors as applicable for secondary market accounts, specifically delinquency and quality control reporting
  • Prepares and mails notifications to delinquent borrowers per investor, guarantor, insurer, and/or bank guidelines, as well as mailing notifications supporting the administrative section.
  • Performs all collection and servicing staff duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner

Ancillary Duties:

As an integral member of the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.


Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirments:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • A.A. or A.S. degree with business field of study strongly preferred
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Skills:

  • Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Excel
  • Proficient communicative skills
  • Highly organized; results driven with competency to meet demands of proficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze data from reports/workbooks
  • Must be collaborative, have the ability to adapt and reprioritize, and have an independently objective mindset
  • Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values: integrity, teamwork, excellence and humility

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years with collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, finance, accounting, legal, or real estate fields preferred.

Other Job Information

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30; overtime including holidays and weekends may be required

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
