Automated CreelMT Op

Job Summary:

The Automated CreelMT Operator will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, general maintenance, and production of the Modra CreelMT system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot the Modra CreelMT system during start-up, normal operation, and shutdown
• Monitor key equipment parameters and record data as applicable.
• Continually inspect machine and creel trollies for defects or potential problems that would keep them from producing 1^st quality.
• Monitor and inspect product quality, equipment reliability, and housekeeping.
• Assist with planning, and raw material procurement for Tufting orders ran on the CreelMT system.
• Ensure completed creel trollies are correct and ready to be run on the Tufting machines.
• Provide training for other employees
• Operate a lift truck and a trolly jack as needed.
• Perform all required and necessary housekeeping duties for the department's operation.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

• Previous experience in a Tufting manufacturing or production operation.
• Experience with process improvement, quality control, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with computers and technical machinery.
• Proven ability to work effectively and with minimal direct supervision and oversite.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and work well with coworkers.
• Ability to work overtime and different shifts or schedules.
• Willingness to learn new processes and perform various duties and tasks based on the operation's needs.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalence preferred
• Ability to read and write and comprehend instructions, diagrams, and other pertinent information related to the equipment and operation of the CreeMT

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, squat and stoop regularly throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand for 8 - 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times a shift.
• Must be lift truck certified & complete appropriate safety training and certifications.
