Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a Special Education Aide position at Harmony Elementary. This position will start as soon as possible. The employee will be working seven (7) hours and fifteen (15) minutes per day (thirty-six (36) hours and fifteen (15) minutes per week). The position will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m. A starting wage of $17.45 per hour is offered for special education aides, with additional compensation available for candidates with special education experience in a public-school setting. A highly competitive benefits package is also included. Qualifications: The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will be able to assist teachers and students with disabilities, including academic, social, emotional and behavior support, transporting, clerical duties as well as potential personal care. Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, have a valid Wisconsin driver's license, lift 45 pounds, and be able to collaboratively work with others.
