Job Overview The Senior Manager, Product Management supports our fast-moving Stores team, bringing a high-energy approach to developing customer-centric user experiences and features to grow our customer base, drive user engagement, and improve overall site experience. In this role, the individual operates as a senior product leader and drives strategy while simultaneously executing on said strategy. They define and execute both the short and long-term strategy and vision for a product area. Operating in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement, ideas and feedback are encouraged. The Senior Manager is expected to make decisions and contribute in a meaningful and impactful way. Skills You Will Need Strategic Thinking: Ability to define and execute both short and long-term strategies and visions for a product area, aligning with overarching business goals and market trends. Leadership: Capability to assume responsibility for enterprise or complex initiatives, leading larger pods with multi-pod dependencies, while building successful followership and trust among colleagues. Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work with pods, partners, and stakeholders, leading complex cross-functional projects with multiple layers of dependencies, fostering meaningful dialogue and alignment. Communication: Masterful communicator who can engage executive audiences through presentations and discussions, influencing decisions and driving outcomes at multiple levels. Technical Acumen: Full understanding of technical concepts and development cycles, partnering effectively with engineering to optimize development cycles and drive technical requirements. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite for effective communication, documentation, and analysis. Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a deep interest in both retail commerce and user experience, distinguishing between store and ecommerce business drivers, to create memorable, loyalty-building experiences. Problem-Solving: Naturally curious with a strong desire to understand root causes and solve problems, using critical thinking skills and data analytics to inform decision-making. Continuous Improvement: Eager to learn about industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies, operating in a continuous improvement manner to drive innovation and excellence. Mentorship and Coaching: Willingness to actively mentor more junior-level colleagues, share knowledge freely, and contribute to the growth and development of the team. Organizational Skills: Strong attention-to-detail, effective time management, and organizational skills to maintain a strong backlog of groomed, insight-driven user stories and keep leaders updated on progress and potential solutions. Results-Driven: Self-motivated and results-driven individual who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced, collaborative, outcome-oriented environment, energized by challenges and always seeking ways to improve. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for the product, managing expectations and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and changes.
